Digital Skills for Youth Program

Technology-Focused Internships.  Funding of up to $30,000 available.

Digital Skills for Youth is an initiative of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. It is part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy and aligns with the government’s Innovation and Skills Plan, a multi-year plan to make Canada a world leader in innovation and create employment opportunities for youth to build the digital skills needed for the evolving digital economy.

The program connects underemployed post-secondary graduates with small businesses and not-for-profit organizations to support organizational technology goals and foster the career development of the intern.

Funding of a maximum of $30,000 is available with 100% coverage of the intern's wage as well as a $4000 bursary.
